Assay Genie's Mouse MDC PharmaGenie ELISA Kit quantifies macrophage-derived chemokine (MDC/CCL22), a CC chemokine that drives CCR4-mediated trafficking of regulatory T cells and Th2 lymphocytes in studies of allergic inflammation and tumor immunology. Capture antibodies are pre-coated onto a microplate strip and the chromogenic readout is measured on a standard plate reader. Reconstituted reagents should be stored at -20 degrees C with limited freeze-thaw cycles, while the unopened kit remains refrigerated and is stable through the printed expiration date. Components include a pre-coated 96-well plate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, standard diluent, wash buffer, substrate solution, and stop solution. The kit is for research use only and is validated specifically for mouse samples with no significant cross-reactivity observed for human MDC or closely related murine chemokines.
