Mouse MDC/CCL22 ELISA Kit

Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of MDC (Macrophage-Derived Chemokine), also known as CCL22, in mouse samples. The assay is reactive with mouse specimens and validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. Spiked recovery averaged 96% (range 86-105%) in serum, 95% (range 89-102%) in EDTA plasma, and 96% (range 87-105%) in heparin plasma. Linearity testing showed dilutional recovery in serum of 88-96% at 1:2, 82-100% at 1:4, and 80-95% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma of 89-101%, 82-100%, and 84-95%; and in heparin plasma of 92-103%, 83-100%, and 84-92%. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

MDC/CCL22 is a chemokine that attracts dendritic cells, T cells and other immune cells to sites of inflammation, and elevated levels have been associated with inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases and cancer. The double-antibody sandwich format uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin conjugate with TMB substrate for color development. Reported synonyms for the analyte include ABCD-1, DC, B-CK, SCYA22 and STCP-1.
