Mouse Mcpt1 (Mast cell protease 1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double antibody format for the quantitative detection of Mouse Mast Cell Protease 1 (MCPT1), a mast cell protease implicated in inflammatory responses and immune regulation. The colorimetric assay is reactive with mouse samples and is suitable for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Unopened kit components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The assay procedure involves six stages. Standards and samples are loaded onto the pre-coated plate and incubated at 37°C for 90 minutes for antigen binding, followed by addition of biotin-labeled detection antibody (37°C, 60 minutes), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (37°C, 30 minutes), and TMB substrate (10-20 minutes in the dark). After stop solution is added, absorbance is read at 450 nm. Sample preparation guidance is provided for serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant, and cell lysate.

Reported linearity across dilution factors (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) for serum is 87-103%, 85-97% and 90-100%; for EDTA plasma is 88-98%, 86-99% and 82-92%; and for heparin plasma is 82-95%, 80-97% and 86-92% (all n=5). Recovery averages are 96% for serum (range 90-105%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 89-100%), and 90% for heparin plasma (range 85-97%).
