Mouse MCP-2/Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of Mouse Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-2 (MCP-2, also known as CCL8) in mouse samples. The assay uses a double-antibody format with a sensitivity of 3.75 pg/mL and a measurable range of 6.25–400 pg/mL, providing accurate and consistent quantification for research applications.

MCP-2 is a key chemokine involved in recruiting monocytes to sites of inflammation and serves as a valuable biomarker for studying inflammatory conditions such as autoimmune diseases, infections, and allergic reactions, as well as for developing novel therapeutic interventions. The kit is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples, and is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions ranges from 80% to 104% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples, while recovery averages 95% for serum, 98% for EDTA plasma and 92% for heparin plasma. The colorimetric procedure uses TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm.
