Mouse MCP-1 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS1465)

The Mouse MCP-1 (CCL2) PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is used to quantify monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 levels in murine samples. MCP-1 (CCL2) is a 13 kDa chemokine that recruits monocytes to sites of inflammation and is implicated in atherosclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and tumor microenvironment studies. Researchers employ this assay to measure inflammatory responses in mouse models of disease.

The protocol uses a pre-coated microplate with capture antibodies specific to mouse MCP-1. Samples and standards are added to wells, followed by biotinylated detection antibody and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. TMB substrate is added, the reaction is stopped with stop solution, and absorbance is read on a plate reader. Each kit provides reagents for one plate and includes a recombinant standard for calibration curves.

Components are shipped refrigerated and should be stored as indicated on the product label to preserve antibody activity. Unopened kits remain stable through the expiration date when stored properly.
