Mouse MCFD2/Multiple coagulation factor deficiency 2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Multiple Coagulation Factor Deficiency 2 (MCFD2). The assay uses a double antibody configuration with colorimetric detection and is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. MCFD2 is described as a critical factor in the coagulation cascade, essential for proper blood clotting and hemostasis, with dysregulation linked to multiple coagulation factor deficiencies and bleeding disorders.

Reported sensitivity is 18.75 pg/mL with a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions gave 86-103%, 87-97% and 86-101% for serum (n=5), 83-100%, 83-95% and 83-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80-97%, 81-100% and 80-97% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-and-recovery testing returned averages of 95% for serum (range 87-103%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 86-102%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 92-98%). Kit reagents are stored at 2-8°C and the components remain stable for 12 months under those conditions.
