Mouse Matrix metalloproteinase-19 (Mmp19) ELISA Kit

The kit is intended for research use only and is validated for use with mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

MMP-19 is an endopeptidase that degrades various components of the extracellular matrix, including aggrecan, cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP), collagen type IV, laminin, nidogen, nascin-C isoform, fibronectin, and type I gelatin. It contributes to extracellular matrix remodelling and tissue homeostasis during development, haemostasis, and pathological conditions such as arthritic disease, and may also play a role in neovascularization or angiogenesis. Dysregulation of MMP-19 has been linked to pathological conditions including cancer, arthritis, and cardiovascular diseases.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.44ng/mL. Specificity is stated for natural and recombinant mouse MMP-19, with UniProt accession Q9JHI0.
