It shows specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Matrix Gla protein and is for research use only.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.22 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.9% and inter-assay CV is 8.8%. Linearity across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 is 85–113% for serum, 80–119% for EDTA plasma, and 81–116% for heparin plasma. Average recovery is 88% (range 82–94%) in serum and 90% (range 84–96%) in plasma.
