Mouse Matrilin 2 (MATN2) ELISA Kit

An absorbance-based microplate immunoassay from Assay Genie supports quantitative measurement of mouse Matrilin-2 (MATN2) in laboratory research samples. Matrilin-2 is an extracellular matrix protein of the matrilin family, characterized by von Willebrand factor A domains and EGF-like repeats that mediate its incorporation into filamentous networks surrounding connective tissue cells. Investigators apply the kit to examine MATN2 expression in cartilage, bone, neural, and other connective tissue contexts, as well as in tumor biology research focused on stromal remodeling. The assay is calibrated for mouse reactivity and is suitable for analysis of tissue homogenates and cell lysates prepared through standard homogenization protocols. Each kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, recombinant MATN2 standards, detection antibodies, and chromogenic substrate reagents sufficient for 96 individual determinations. A standard curve is run on each plate to convert absorbance readings to MATN2 concentrations. Reagents should be refrigerated upon arrival and equilibrated to room temperature before use.
