Mouse Mast cell surface glycoprotein Gp49A (Gp49a) ELISA Kit

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with mouse, accepting serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.814 ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.8%. Good linearity is observed across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples, and average spike recoveries are 106% for serum and 108% for plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant mouse GP49A.

GP49A is a single-pass type I membrane protein with a molecular weight of 34,194 Da (UniProt Q61450) that may play a role in cell-cell or cell-cytokine interactions during mast cell development, making it a valuable biomarker for studying immune regulation, allergic reactions, autoimmune diseases and inflammatory disorders.
