Mouse Malignant T cell-amplified sequence 1 (Mcts1) ELISA Kit

MCTS1, also known as Multiple copies T-cell malignancies 1 or MCT-1, is reported to act as an anti-oncogene involved in cell cycle regulation. According to the manufacturer's notes, the protein decreases cell doubling time and anchorage-dependent growth, shortens the duration of G1 transit time and the G1/S transition, and when constitutively expressed increases CDK4 and CDK6 kinase activity as well as CCND1/cyclin D1 protein levels and G1 cyclin/CDK complex formation. It also acts as a translation enhancer by recruiting density-regulated protein/DENR to the 5'-cap complex of mRNAs, up-regulating protein levels of BCL2L2, TFDP1, MRE11A, CCND1 and E2F1.

Reported analytical performance includes a detection range of 0.078–5 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.031 ng/mL.
