Mouse Major histocompatibility complex class I-related gene protein (Mr1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Major histocompatibility complex class I-related gene protein (Mr1), also listed under the synonyms Class I histocompatibility antigen-like protein, MHC class I-related gene protein and Mr1a. The assay is intended for mouse samples and, according to the manufacturer, has been validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, recognising both natural and recombinant mouse Mr1.

Performance figures quoted from the product specification include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.086 ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 8.3% and inter-assay CV of 9.6%. Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 is given as 108–118%, 99–109%, 105–117% and 90–100% for serum (N=5), 87–97%, 87–97%, 105–117% and 90–100% for EDTA plasma (N=5), and 99–107%, 97–107%, 106–118% and 95–95% for heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery is stated as 87% (range 81–93%) for serum and 89% (range 83–95%) for plasma. The target is associated with UniProt Q8HWB0, heterodimerises with B2M, and is localised to the cell membrane (single-pass type I membrane protein) and endoplasmic reticulum.

The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate (8×12 strips), lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution and plate sealer, with storage temperatures specified per component. For research use only.
