Mouse LZM (Lysozyme) ELISA Kit (MOES01245)

This Assay Genie colorimetric sandwich ELISA is intended for quantifying mouse lysozyme (LZM) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids, with cell culture supernatants also described for measurement. The manufacturer specifies a sample volume of 100 μL and an assay time of 3 h 30 min.

Stated performance figures are a sensitivity of 75 pg/mL, a detection range of 125-8000 pg/mL and recovery of 80%-120%. Reported average recovery is 97% for EDTA plasma (range 90-104%) and 94% for cell culture media (range 88-100%). Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions, while reported intra-assay CV values are 4.91%, 5.37% and 6.71% and inter-assay CV values are 7.29%, 7.36% and 7.26%.

The kit recognizes mouse LZM, and the manufacturer reports no significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse LZM and analogues. Supplied components include a micro ELISA plate, reference standard, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP conjugate, sample and antibody diluents, wash buffer, substrate reagent, stop solution, plate sealer, technical manual and certificate of analysis. Storage is specified at 2-8°C for most reagents and -20°C for the microplate, reference standard and concentrated detection antibody and HRP conjugate, with a 12-month shelf life listed and the HRP conjugate and substrate reagent marked "Protect from light".
