Mouse Lysyl Oxidase Like Protein 1 (LOXL1) ELISA Kit

Quantify endogenous LOXL1 in mouse laboratory specimens with this in vitro immunoassay kit from Assay Genie. Lysyl oxidase like protein 1 is a copper-dependent amine oxidase that catalyzes the oxidative deamination of peptidyl lysine side chains, a biochemical step required for covalent cross-linking of tropoelastin into mature elastic fibers within the extracellular matrix. The kit is validated for mouse samples and supports research into elastin homeostasis, connective tissue remodeling, exfoliation syndrome, and fibrosis in vascular, pulmonary, and ocular tissues.

Each kit supplies a pre-coated multi-well plate, calibrator standards, detection antibody, substrate, wash buffer, and stop solution in single-use vials, configured for 96 assays per run. Reconstituted reagents and unused plate strips should be stored refrigerated and protected from light. Tissue samples are prepared as homogenates in cold lysis buffer containing protease inhibitors, aliquoted, and frozen at -80°C to preserve analyte integrity.
