Mouse Lysyl oxidase homolog 4 (Loxl4) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of mouse lysyl oxidase homolog 4 (LOXL4), an enzyme that contributes to extracellular matrix remodeling, tissue development and homeostasis. Dysregulation of LOXL4 has been linked to fibrosis, cancer and vascular disorders. The kit is validated for mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and is specific for natural and recombinant mouse LOXL4 (UniProt Q924C6; molecular weight 84,779 Da). The product is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.0% and inter-assay CV is 8.7%. Linearity in serum spans 98–121% across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions, in EDTA plasma 80–110%, and in heparin plasma 84–119%. Recovery is reported as 88% (range 82–94%) in serum and 90% (range 84–96%) in plasma.
