Also known by the synonym Lysyl oxidase-like protein 2, LOXL2 is an enzyme of the lysyl oxidase family involved in extracellular matrix remodeling and fibrosis, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, fibrosis and cardiovascular disorders.
