Mouse Lysozyme ELISA Kit

A colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of lysozyme in mouse samples. The kit is intended for research into immune responses, inflammation and infection in mouse models, where lysozyme serves as a biomarker of immune function and disease progression.

Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Kits should be stored at 2–8°C, where they remain stable for 12 months.

Validation data report linearity between 91–100% for serum, 88–105% for EDTA plasma and 90–102% for heparin plasma at 1:2 dilution (n=5), with average recovery of 97% in serum, 93% in EDTA plasma and 96% in heparin plasma. The workflow uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin binding and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
