Mouse Lysosomal alpha-Glucosidase/GAA ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of Lysosomal alpha-Glucosidase (GAA) levels in mouse samples. Using a double-antibody format with colorimetric readout, the kit supports research applications including studies of glycogen metabolism and related metabolic disorders.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. It is configured for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reagents stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. Reported serum recovery averages 95% (range 91–100%), EDTA plasma 96% (94–98%) and heparin plasma 97% (85–104%), with linearity across dilutions spanning roughly 84–105% for these matrices.

GAA is the lysosomal enzyme involved in the breakdown of glycogen, and dysregulation of its activity has been linked to metabolic disorders such as Pompe disease, making it a useful biomarker for studying these conditions.
