Mouse Lysosomal alpha-glucosidase (Gaa) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is intended for the quantitative measurement of mouse lysosomal alpha-glucosidase (GAA), the enzyme responsible for degrading glycogen to glucose within lysosomes. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and targets natural and recombinant mouse GAA. Dysregulation of GAA activity has been linked to metabolic disorders such as Pompe disease, making the kit a useful tool for researchers studying lysosomal storage disorders.

Validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, the kit offers a detection range of 0.78-50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.4 ng/mL. Reported precision is 7.0% intra-assay CV and 8.6% inter-assay CV. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with serum recovery averaging 100% (range 94-106%) and plasma recovery averaging 102% (range 96-108%).
