Mouse Lymphocyte activation gene 3 protein (Lag3) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative detection of mouse Lymphocyte Activation Gene-3 (LAG-3) protein, also referenced by the synonyms CD223, Aida, and Activation-induced cytidine deaminase-linked autoimmunity protein. The assay is designed for research use in immunology, supporting studies of immune regulation, immune tolerance, autoimmunity, and immunotherapy in mouse models. LAG-3 is a cell surface receptor involved in lymphocyte activation, and the secreted form may function as a ligand for MHC class II on antigen-presenting cells, promoting APC activation and maturation and driving a Th1 immune response.

Performance has been validated with a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.087ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 7.7% and an inter-assay CV of 10.1%. Linearity (N=5) was tested at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, returning ranges of 101-110%, 80-89%, 109-119% and 80-93% for serum, 84-94%, 91-103%, 91-101% and 90-98% for EDTA plasma, and 100-110%, 96-108%, 94-103% and 83-93% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing gave averages of 82% (range 80-88%) for serum and 84% (range 80-90%) for plasma.

The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and specifically recognises natural and recombinant mouse LAG-3 protein. It is for research use only.
