Mouse Luteinizing Hormone ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse luteinizing hormone (LH), this ELISA kit from Assay Genie is suited to serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. LH plays a critical role in the reproductive system, particularly in regulating ovulation and stimulating the production of sex hormones; abnormal LH levels have been associated with infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, and other reproductive disorders, making it a valuable biomarker for research in reproductive biology, endocrinology, and related fields.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with reactivity against mouse samples. Manufacturer-reported sensitivity is 0.281 ng/mL, with a working range of 0.469–30 ng/mL (30 ng = 15.6 mIU). Reported recovery averages are 93% for serum (range 85–104%), 92% for EDTA plasma (range 86–98%), and 96% for heparin plasma (range 85–105%), each measured at n = 10. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 81–98%, 82–95%, and 82–99% for serum; 87–101%, 82–98%, and 81–99% for EDTA plasma; and 84–100%, 85–97%, and 93–105% for heparin plasma (all n = 10). The kit should be stored at 2–8°C (sealed) and should not be cryopreserved.
