Mouse Lumican (Lum) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of mouse Lumican in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Lumican. Detection is colorimetric, read at 450 nm.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.176ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.7% and inter-assay CV is 8.1%. Linearity ranges are 97-106% (1:2), 109-120% (1:4), 96-107% (1:8) and 88-98% (1:16) for serum (N=5); 100-108%, 90-99%, 101-109% and 106-115% for EDTA plasma; and 80-90%, 98-106%, 102-112% and 81-91% for heparin plasma. Recovery is 89% (range 83-95%) for serum and 91% (range 85-97%) for plasma.

Lumican is a member of the small leucine-rich proteoglycan (SLRP) family and is the major keratan sulfate proteoglycan of the cornea, distributed in the extracellular space and extracellular matrix where it binds laminin and contributes to collagen fibril organization (UniProt P51885).
