The Mouse LUM (Lumican) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie supports quantitative studies of lumican, a keratan sulfate proteoglycan that directs collagen fibril organization, corneal clarity, and extracellular matrix remodeling in mouse models of fibrosis, scarring, and connective tissue disease.

Investigators use this reagent to profile lumican levels across serum, tissue homogenates, and conditioned media from mouse experimental systems, including studies of stromal-epithelial signaling, age-related musculoskeletal decline, and tumor stroma biology.

Each kit contains pre-titrated matched antibody pairs, standards, and assay buffers supplied in individual vials; components require refrigerated storage at the temperature indicated on the product insert and remain stable through the stated shelf life when aliquoted properly to limit freeze-thaw cycles.

Sample preparation typically requires a small aliquot (around 50 uL) of clarified specimen added to wells of the supplied microplate. The assay is calibrated for in vitro research use only and is not cleared for clinical diagnostics.
