Mouse Lptn/XCL1 (Lymphotactin) CLIA Kit (MOES00428)

A chemiluminescence immunoassay kit from Assay Genie, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of mouse lymphotactin (Lptn/XCL1) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Lymphotactin is a chemokine involved in the immune response by attracting lymphocytes to sites of inflammation, making it a valuable biomarker for studying immune system function and inflammatory conditions.

The assay uses the Sandwich-CLIA principle. The micro CLIA plate provided is pre-coated with an antibody specific to mouse Lptn/XCL1. Standards or samples are added to the wells and combined with the specific antibody, then a biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively. After incubation and washing, substrate solution is added. Only wells containing mouse Lptn/XCL1, the biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will fluoresce. The Relative Light Unit (RLU) value is measured by a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer and is positively associated with the concentration of mouse Lptn/XCL1.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.38 pg/mL and a detection range of 15.63-1000 pg/mL, with a total assay time of 4.5 hours. The required sample volume is 100 μL. The kit recognizes mouse Lptn/XCL1 in samples, with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between the target and analogues observed.
