Mouse LOX-1/Olr1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, set up as a double-antibody assay, for the measurement of mouse LOX-1/OLR1 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates and other liquid samples. Sensitivity is 0.469 ng/mL and the standard-curve range is 0.781-50 ng/mL. LOX-1/OLR1 is described as a key receptor protein involved in the regulation of oxidative stress and inflammation, with roles in a wide range of diseases including atherosclerosis, diabetes and neurodegenerative disorders.

Recovery (n = 5) is 92-103% in serum (average 98%), 87-102% in EDTA plasma (average 96%) and 86-105% in heparin plasma (average 94%). Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 86-102% / 82-96% / 87-97% for serum, 85-104% / 84-100% / 81-100% for EDTA plasma and 91-103% / 89-98% / 81-96% for heparin plasma. The assay workflow uses six steps: equilibrate reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature and load the pre-coated plate; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes; HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes; TMB color development in the dark for 10-20 minutes; then stop solution and absorbance read at 450 nm.

Components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and a technical manual.
