Mouse Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 (Lrp6) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative determination of mouse Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 (LRP-6), this Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is intended for the quantification of LRP6 levels in mouse serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse LRP-6 and is reactive specifically with mouse samples.

LRP6 is a critical component of the Wnt signaling pathway, playing a key role in cell growth, tissue regeneration, and development. Dysregulation of LRP6 has been linked to various diseases including cancer, osteoporosis, and Alzheimer's disease. The protein functions as a cell-surface coreceptor of Wnt/beta-catenin signaling, with a pivotal role in bone formation, making it a target of interest for research into molecular mechanisms and therapeutic potential.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.625-40ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.312ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.8% and inter-assay CV is 8.8%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum at 91-100% (1:2), 107-116% (1:4), 88-101% (1:8), and 88-98% (1:16); in EDTA plasma at 81-90%, 81-90%, 82-91%, and 105-114% across the same dilutions; and in heparin plasma at 103-113%, 87-96%, 87-95%, and 107-117%. Recovery in serum averages 81% (range 80-87%) and in plasma averages 83% (range 80-89%). The kit is for research use only.
