Mouse Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 2 (Lrp2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the precise quantification of LRP2 (Low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 2) in mouse samples, detecting both natural and recombinant forms of the protein. Also referred to as Glycoprotein 330, Megalin, gp330 and LRP-2, the target is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with the associated Uniprot entry A2ARV4.

The assay reports a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.34ng/mL. Precision values are 7.1% intra-assay CV and 9.2% inter-assay CV. Linearity is provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum (101-113%, 107-119%, 84-94%, 111-111%), EDTA plasma (113-123%, 103-112%, 103-112%, 109-118%) and heparin plasma (111-119%, 115-124%, 100-113%, 95-105%). Reported recovery is 82% (range 80-88%) for serum and 84% (range 80-90%) for plasma.

LRP2 acts together with cubilin to mediate HDL endocytosis and is a single-pass type I membrane protein localised to coated pits, with cardiovascular research as the indicated field. The kit is stored at -20°C and shipped at +4°C.
