Mouse Long-chain fatty acid transport protein 1 (Slc27a1) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of mouse SLC27A1 (long-chain fatty acid transport protein 1), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie targets Long-chain fatty acid transport protein 1 (Slc27a1), also known as Fatty acid transport protein, Solute carrier family 27 member 1, FATP-1, Fatp, and Fatp1. The assay is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids.

Reported performance includes a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.167ng/mL. Reproducibility figures are an Intra-assay CV of 6.4% and an Inter-assay CV of 8.9%. Validated recovery is 87% (range 81-93%) in serum and 89% (range 83-95%) in plasma, and the assay is specific for natural and recombinant mouse SLC27A1.

SLC27A1 is a membrane-associated transporter that mediates the ATP-dependent import of long-chain fatty acids across the plasma membrane and also displays acyl-CoA ligase activity for long-chain and very-long-chain fatty acids. Dysregulation of SLC27A1 has been implicated in metabolic disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker in cardiovascular research on lipid metabolism and energy production.
