Mouse Lmf1/Lipase maturation factor 1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Mouse Lmf1/Lipase maturation factor 1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format immunoassay designed for the accurate quantification of LMF1 levels in mouse samples. The kit is intended for research use only and is reactive with mouse species. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method and has a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.401ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as 6.1% CV and inter-assay precision as 8.3% CV. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery is reported at an average of 93% (range 87-99%) for serum and 95% (range 89-101%) for plasma. The kit detects both natural and recombinant mouse Lipase maturation factor 1.

LMF1 (also known as Transmembrane protein 112 or Tmem112; UniProt Q3U3R4) is an endoplasmic reticulum multi-pass membrane protein involved in the maturation and transport of active lipoprotein lipase (LPL) through the secretory pathway. Dysregulation of LMF1 has been linked to metabolic disorders such as obesity and hyperlipidemia, making this kit suitable for studies of lipid metabolism and related diseases in mouse models.
