Liver X Receptor Alpha (LXRα, also called NR1H3) is a nuclear receptor transcription factor that governs cholesterol efflux, fatty acid synthesis, and inflammatory responses in hepatic and macrophage cell populations. The Assay Genie Mouse LXRα ELISA Kit is a quantitative immunoassay tool intended to measure endogenous LXRα protein concentrations in mouse tissue homogenates, supporting metabolic disease research, atherosclerosis studies, and investigations into nuclear receptor signaling pathways.
