Mouse Lipoprotein lipase (Lpl) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this colorimetric sandwich ELISA enables the quantitative detection of mouse lipoprotein lipase (LPL) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit recognises both natural and recombinant mouse LPL and is suited to cardiovascular research relating to lipid metabolism and associated metabolic disorders.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL, a sensitivity of 7.82 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 3.8% and an inter-assay CV of 6.3%. Lipoprotein lipase hydrolyses triglycerides carried by circulating chylomicrons and very low density lipoproteins, with apolipoprotein APOC2 acting as a coactivator of LPL activity at the luminal surface of the vascular endothelium.
