Mouse Lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (Lbp) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit enables quantitative detection of mouse Lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP), a secreted acute-phase protein of the innate immune system that binds the lipid A moiety of bacterial lipopolysaccharides and promotes CD14-mediated signalling. The kit is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with sample preparation protocols described for each matrix.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.41 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 8.6% and an inter-assay CV of 10.3%. Linearity has been reported in serum at 105–117% (1:2), 99–107% (1:4), 107–118% (1:8) and 95–105% (1:16); in EDTA plasma at 91–101% (1:2), 93–102% (1:4), 97–108% (1:8) and 102–113% (1:16); and in heparin plasma at 102–112% (1:2), 110–120% (1:4), 80–88% (1:8) and 82–91% (1:16). Recovery averages 88% (range 82–94%) for serum and 90% (range 84–96%) for plasma. The assay detects natural and recombinant mouse LBP and is intended for research use within the immunology field.
