Quantitative measurement of mouse Lipolysis Stimulated Lipoprotein Receptor (LSR) is enabled by this research-use ELISA kit from Assay Genie, supplied as a 96-assay pack for in vitro workflows. The kit accepts tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and freshly prepared experimental samples, supporting studies of LSR expression across mouse model systems.
LSR, also known as Angulin-1, is a tricellular tight-junction protein with established roles in hepatic uptake of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins, in epithelial barrier maintenance, and in lipid-handling pathways. Published work has reported altered LSR abundance in models of diet-induced obesity, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and atherosclerosis, making LSR a useful biomarker candidate in metabolic and barrier-function studies.
Researchers in lipoprotein metabolism, cardiometabolic disease, gut barrier biology, and hepatic steatosis can use this kit to quantify LSR in endpoint comparisons between treatment groups. The spectrophotometric read-out is compatible with standard microplate instrumentation. Reagents are shipped refrigerated; upon receipt they should be stored at low temperature to preserve activity, with the package insert giving full handling guidance.
