Mouse LIPG/Endothelial Lipase ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of endothelial lipase (LIPG) in mouse samples, supporting research into lipid metabolism and cardiovascular health. Endothelial lipase is described as a key enzyme involved in lipoprotein metabolism, and monitoring its levels can provide insights into lipid homeostasis and atherosclerosis development.

The kit uses a colorimetric detection method in a double-antibody sandwich format and is reactive with mouse samples. It is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported sensitivity is 0.938 ng/mL, with a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Unopened kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity for serum is 95–105% at 1:2, 85–104% at 1:4, and 97–105% at 1:8; for EDTA plasma 85–100%, 83–98%, and 82–100%; and for heparin plasma 87–91%, 80–94%, and 82–99%. Recovery averages 98% in serum (range 89–104%), 93% in EDTA plasma (range 85–97%), and 96% in heparin plasma (range 89–104%). The six-step workflow comprises reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
