LAT (Linker for Activation of T-Cells) is a 36-38 kDa transmembrane adaptor protein that becomes phosphorylated during T-cell receptor engagement, recruiting Grb2, Gads, and phospholipase C-γ1 to drive calcium flux and downstream MAP kinase activation.
Assay Genie's quantitative immunoassay for mouse LAT supports studies of T-cell development, thymic selection, immune synapse assembly, and signaling defects in mouse models of autoimmunity and immunodeficiency.
Each microplate kit includes a pre-coated capture plate, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, and stop solution, sufficient for one full plate run.
Reconstituted standards and biotin conjugate should be stored frozen at -20 °C and protected from light, while unused strip wells and assay diluent are kept refrigerated with desiccant.
The procedure tolerates diverse mouse-derived inputs including tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and cell culture supernatants, enabling comparisons of LAT protein expression across knockout, transgenic, and pharmacological treatment groups in immunology research workflows.
