Mouse Leukosialin/SPN ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich double-antibody ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Mouse Leukosialin/SPN. The assay is suitable for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to the target protein. Standards and appropriately diluted samples are added to the wells and incubated, allowing the target analyte to bind to the immobilised antibody. A biotinylated detection antibody specific to a different epitope is then added, followed by HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate solution to produce a colorimetric reaction. The reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm using a microplate reader. Signal intensity is directly proportional to analyte concentration and is determined using a standard curve.

The kit demonstrates a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Reported linearity for serum is 85-105% (1:2), 88-104% (1:4) and 89-98% (1:8); for EDTA plasma 83-100%, 88-100% and 83-97%; and for heparin plasma 82-98%, 81-94% and 80-97%. Recovery ranges from 91-101% (average 96%) in serum, 87-103% (average 96%) in EDTA plasma, and 85-102% (average 96%) in heparin plasma. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
