Mouse LETM1 domain-containing protein 1 (Letmd1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the measurement of mouse LETM1 domain-containing protein 1 (Letmd1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay is for research use only and is reactive with mouse samples, with the target also known by the synonyms Cervical cancer receptor, MCC-32 and Mccr.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay provides a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.63pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 8.3% and an inter-assay CV of 10.4%. Linearity has been validated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum (83-106%), EDTA plasma (98-122%) and heparin plasma (96-116%) sample sets (N=5). Recovery data show an average of 100% (range 94-106%) in serum and 102% (range 96-108%) in plasma. The assay specifically detects natural and recombinant mouse LETM1 domain-containing protein 1.

The target has been described as involved in tumorigenesis and may function as a negative regulator of p53/TP53. The protein is localised at the mitochondrion outer membrane as a single-pass membrane protein and has been reported to interact with BRI3BP.
