Mouse Legumain (Lgmn) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie supplies a Sandwich ELISA Kit designed to detect mouse Legumain (Lgmn) by a colorimetric ELISA method. The assay is intended for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatant, and other biological fluids, and it recognises both natural and recombinant mouse Legumain.

The reported detection range is 78-5000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 41 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 7.1% and inter-assay CV is 9.0%. Linearity was assessed at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 on five replicates of serum (97-107%, 107-117%, 108-118%, 82-91%), EDTA plasma (103-113%, 83-83%, 95-106%, 111-120%) and heparin plasma (81-90%, 90-102%, 100-110%, 104-117%). Recovery averaged 88% (82-94%) in serum and 90% (84-96%) in plasma.

Legumain (synonyms: Asparaginyl endopeptidase, Protease cysteine 1, Prsc1) is a lysosomal cysteine peptidase of the C13 family. It hydrolyses asparaginyl bonds, with slow cleavage of aspartyl bonds under acidic conditions, and is implicated in MHC class II antigen presentation, lysosomal protein degradation in renal proximal tubules, and EGFR turnover.
