Mouse LBP (Lipopolysaccharide Binding Protein) ELISA Kit (MOES01821)

This colorimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed to measure mouse lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to mouse LBP; biotinylated detection antibody and avidin-HRP conjugate are then added. After substrate development, LBP-containing wells appear blue, the stop solution turns the color yellow, and optical density is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. Sample concentration is calculated by comparing sample optical density with the standard curve.

The kit is reactive with mouse, with a detection range of “3.13-200 ng/mL,” sensitivity of “1.88 ng/mL,” and “100µL” sample volume required per well. The stated assay time is “4.5h.” The manufacturer reports no significant cross-reactivity or interference between mouse LBP and analogues, and identifies immunology as the research area.
