Mouse Laminin subunit alpha-5/LAMA5 ELISA Kit

This sandwich (double antibody) ELISA kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of mouse Laminin subunit alpha-5 (LAMA5) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric workflow uses an antibody specific to LAMA5 pre-coated on a microplate; captured analyte is detected with a biotinylated antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin, and TMB substrate is read at 450 nm against a standard curve. A Bradford reagent is supplied to quantify total protein in lysate samples for accurate normalization.

Validated performance shows a measuring range of 0.313-20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was demonstrated in serum (94-100%, 84-99%, 80-100%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-97%, 89-99%), and heparin plasma (86-101%, 84-95%, 84-95%). Spike-and-recovery averaged 95% in serum (range 86-102%), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 85-104%), and 96% in heparin plasma (range 92-100%). The procedure includes a 37°C primary incubation, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin binding, TMB color development, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution.

Reagents are intended for storage at 2-8°C and remain stable for 12 months. The kit is intended for research use only and is suited to cell biology applications involving LAMA5 as a component of the extracellular matrix with roles in cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation.
