Mouse Laminin subunit alpha-1/LAMA1 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantification of Laminin subunit alpha-1 (LAMA1) levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid sample types. LAMA1 is a key component of laminin, an essential protein of the extracellular matrix that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion, migration, and differentiation. Abnormalities in LAMA1 expression have been linked to muscular dystrophy, kidney diseases, and certain cancers, making the measurement of LAMA1 valuable for research into disease pathogenesis and progression.

The kit uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich ELISA format, with a reported sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Validated linearity has been demonstrated for serum (91–105%, 97–103%, 91–105%), EDTA plasma (85–98%, 82–88%, 89–99%), and heparin plasma (86–98%, 84–90%, 80–98%) across serial dilutions. Recovery ranges are 85–105% (average 95%) for serum, 93–102% (97%) for EDTA plasma, and 88–105% (97%) for heparin plasma. All components should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with TMB substrate and labelled antibodies protected from direct light.
