Mouse L-selectin (Sell) ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the precise measurement of L-selectin levels in mouse samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method, with reactivity confirmed for mouse samples, and provides high sensitivity and specificity for natural and recombinant mouse L-selectin (CD62L).

L-selectin is a cell surface adhesion protein of the selectin/LECAM family. It mediates the adherence of lymphocytes to endothelial cells of high endothelial venules in peripheral lymph nodes and promotes initial tethering and rolling of leukocytes in endothelia, making it a key protein in leukocyte trafficking, cell adhesion, and inflammation. The protein is a single-pass type I membrane protein (UniProt P18337) and is associated with stem cell research applications.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and sensitivity of 0.089ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 6.5% and inter-assay CV is 8.9%. Recovery is 101% (range 95-107%) for serum and 103% (range 97-109%) for plasma. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
