Mouse L-dopachrome tautomerase (Dct) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, intended for the quantitative detection of mouse L-dopachrome tautomerase (Dct) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Reactivity is limited to mouse samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant mouse L-dopachrome tautomerase.

The assay has a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.156 ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 6.8% and inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Dct, also known by synonyms including TRP-2, TYRP2, DCT, Tyrp-2, and DOPAchrome isomerase, catalyses the conversion of L-dopachrome into 5,6-dihydroxyindole-2-carboxylic acid (DHICA) and is involved in regulating eumelanin and phaeomelanin levels.

The kit is intended for research use only, supporting studies of melanogenesis, skin biology, melanoma, and the broader cancer research area. Reagents are stored at -20°C and the kit is shipped at +4°C.
