Mouse L-asparaginase (Asrgl1) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative detection of mouse L-asparaginase (Asrgl1), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is intended for research applications using mouse samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The target enzyme, isoaspartyl peptidase/L-asparaginase, plays a role in asparagine catabolism and has been investigated in the context of cancer and other diseases.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.156ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.4% and inter-assay CV is 6.7%. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is 105-114%, 97-109%, 85-95% and 93-102% in serum; 101-111%, 109-119%, 93-102% and 107-117% in EDTA plasma; and 102-110%, 100-111%, 100-110% and 102-111% in heparin plasma. Average recovery is 88% (range 82-94) in serum and 90% (range 84-96) in plasma. Specificity is confirmed for natural and recombinant mouse isoaspartyl peptidase/L-asparaginase (UniProt Q8C0M9, molecular weight 33,950 Da).

Synonyms for the target include Asparaginase-like protein 1, Beta-aspartyl-peptidase, Isoaspartyl dipeptidase and L-asparagine amidohydrolase. The protein forms a heterodimer of an alpha and beta chain produced by autocleavage and is localised to the cytoplasm, including the midpiece of the sperm tail. Research area: metabolism.
