Mouse Kynurenine--oxoglutarate transaminase 1 (Ccbl1) ELISA Kit

The colorimetric assay is reactive with mouse samples and has been validated for specificity toward natural and recombinant mouse CCBL1.

CCBL1 is a homodimeric enzyme located in the cytoplasm that catalyzes the irreversible transamination of the L-tryptophan metabolite L-kynurenine to form kynurenic acid (KA). It also metabolizes the cysteine conjugates of certain halogenated alkenes and alkanes, and catalyzes the beta-elimination of S-conjugates and Se-conjugates of L-(seleno)cysteine, cleaving the C-S or C-Se bond. As a key enzyme in the kynurenine pathway of tryptophan metabolism, CCBL1 has been implicated in neurodegenerative disorders, autoimmune diseases and cancer, making its accurate measurement valuable for research into these conditions and the development of therapeutic strategies.

Quantitative performance is defined by a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. The kit is intended for research use only.
