Mouse Klotho ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise measurement of Klotho levels in mouse samples. It is a double antibody assay with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was 87–101%, 89–103%, 85–98% in serum; 83–98%, 85–97%, 86–101% in EDTA plasma; and 85–97%, 82–95%, 88–98% in heparin plasma. Average recovery was 94% for serum (range 85–101%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 85–99%), and 97% for heparin plasma (range 86–105%).

Detection is colorimetric, using TMB substrate with absorbance measured at 450 nm. Klotho is described as a protein associated with regulation of aging and age-related diseases, with roles in maintaining kidney function and bone health.
