Quantify mouse Kisspeptin Receptor (KISS1R), also known as GPR54, in prepared tissue homogenates with this research-grade immunoassay from Assay Genie. KISS1R is a G-protein-coupled receptor on gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons that governs pubertal onset, gonadotropin release, and reproductive function in rodents.
Typical applications include hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis studies, energy balance and reproduction, kisspeptin signaling pathway analysis, and characterization of genetic or pharmacologic infertility models. The format supports 96 individual determinations and fits into high-throughput laboratory workflows investigating reproductive neuroendocrinology.
Reconstituted reagents should be kept refrigerated at 4°C and protected from light; aliquot standards to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Tissue lysates are typically cleared by centrifugation at 10000 x g, with the resulting supernatant applied for measurement. The product is labeled for research use only.
