Mouse Kininogen-1 (Kng1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Kininogen-1 (Kng1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The kit detects natural and recombinant mouse Kininogen-1 and is intended for research use only.

The assay has a detection range of 1.56-100ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.816ng/mL. Detection is performed by reading the optical density at 450 nm using a microplate reader. The kit includes antibody-coated microplate strips, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity, and recovery data are provided with the kit.

Kininogen-1 is a key protein of the kinin-kallikrein system with roles in blood coagulation and the regulation of inflammation and blood pressure via the release of bradykinin. Dysregulation of kininogen-1 has been linked to cardiovascular and inflammatory conditions, making this assay useful for research in oncology and cardiovascular biology. The protein is encoded by the Kng1 gene (NCBI Gene ID: 16644; UniProt: O08677) and the LMW isoform has been reported to interact with CRISP3.
