Mouse Keratin, type II cytoskeletal 6A (Krt6a) ELISA Kit

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a detection range of 78–5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 39.4 pg/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 8.5% and an inter-assay CV of 10.1%. Linearity has been verified for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Average recovery is reported at 99% (range 93–105%) for serum and 101% (range 95–107%) for plasma.

KRT6A is a type II cytoskeletal keratin that contributes to the structural integrity of epithelial cells. It is described as an epidermis-specific keratin involved in wound healing, in the activation of follicular keratinocytes after wounding, and in the regulation of epithelial migration through inhibition of SRC activity during wound repair. The protein forms heterodimers with type I keratins such as KRT16 and KRT17, and has been shown to interact with TCHP. The associated UniProt accession is P50446. For research use only.
