Mouse Keratin, type I cytoskeletal 20 (Krt20) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of mouse Keratin, type I cytoskeletal 20 (KRT20), also known as Cytokeratin-20, Keratin-20, CK-20 or K20. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and targets a key cytoskeletal protein responsible for maintaining the structural integrity of epithelial cells, with dysregulation of KRT20 linked to skin diseases and cancer.

Reactivity is specific to mouse samples, with the kit showing specificity for natural and recombinant mouse Keratin, type I cytoskeletal 20. The detection range spans 78-5000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 39.5 pg/mL. KRT20 forms a heterotetramer of two type I and two type II keratins and associates with KRT8, playing a significant role in maintaining keratin filament organisation in intestinal epithelia and, when phosphorylated, contributing to mucin secretion in the small intestine.
